The recent floods that submerged most part of the Island,speaks volumes about the disposition of lagosians as regards where they live.

The Island orchestrated by the colonial masters has been a beacon of class and aspiration in Lagos .In fact it is said that if you don’t live on the Island you don’t matter.But the recent floods speaks volumes of the Island.In topography it is not worst than amsterdam, but the niggling problem of block channels has been a recurring decimal in Lagos with no solution.
